Add a Way to Make "Collections" of Elements, For Example Custom Song Books

We make lists of songs, including lists of original songs.

It would be great to create our own song list and/or hymnal for grouping and analyzing songs etc.

I've now created custom categories that allow you to add any elements to a collection, or to multiple collections.

I really like the feature that filters songs according to how recently they were used. It appears, though, that this works only for songs in a hymnal. I just loaded all the songs from our own list/spreadsheet that includes many original songs. It doesn't appear, though, that these songs are being accessed by the date feature. It would be great to establish our own hymnal or song list that could be accessed by the date feature. Right now these songs are only viewed by selecting Worship Songs and then Our Selections.

You can filter songs that were recently used and that are not in hymnals. The link is here:

This isn't just hymns, or songs in hymnals, but all elements including none-musical elements.

Original songs will be accessed this way as well, if they are entered into the elements list.

It sounds like you're asking for a song collection or element collection feature, whereby you can put groups of songs in collections... it's not a bad idea, but I would like to have it fleshed out and brainstormed more.

I'm going to edit your idea so that it better represents that. Hopefully other people will vote on the idea as well.

I did go to the not recent items search, even after adding all the songs used throughout the last month and beyond and am still not seeing any songs listed.

I have added a feature that you might be able to use for books, the way you want to-- it's a category feature for each element, that you can use to add one custom category to each element you've added to you repertoire.
