Announcements on Homepage

Could there be a place on the homepage where instructions and announcements that apply indefinitely could be posted for members? This would be especially helpful for new members.

This way the same message doesn't have to be sent out all the time.

Thanks Katie!

I've added this feature-- there is now an announcements section on the home page. Anyone who logs into your ServiceBuilder account can leave announcements right now, and their name is added at the end so you know who is posting them.

We can change this if it causes problems, so that only admins can add them.

It will show the last 10 announcements, below the upcoming services dashboard.

I can also use this section for leaving my own announcements.

and yes, it would be better if only admins could post as we have EVERYONE that attends our meetings in the database. if you could at least make it an option in the settings that would be a big help. thanks again!
