My dropbox link is broken - how do i reset it?

I cannot find anywhere to specify a dropbox account. It was not working, so I thought that if I deleted the App from within Dropbox, I might get the option to reconnect it, but I still do not see anywhere to enter dropbox account info in SB.

Hi Mark, I'm not sure how to replicate this problem to fix it.

If you can replicate it, please let me know the steps you took.

In the meantime, try clearing your browser's cookies, then trying again.

Sorry for the delay in replying!

Jason,

I just had the same problem. When I connected to Dropbox there was an error. I wasn't sure it really connected, but ServiceBuilder thought it did. I tried uploading a file 2 times times but didn't see it in my dropbox. So from dropbox I uninstalled the servicebuilder app.... thinking I could retry a connection. Now ServiceBuilder gives me an error. I tried emptying my browser cache but it didn't work. Does the server cache need to be emptied? Here's the error I get.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'OAuthException' with message 'Invalid auth/bad request (got a 401, expected HTTP/1.1 20X or a redirect)' in /home3/crookedb/public_html/servicebuilder/Dropbox/OAuth/PHP.php:73 Stack trace: #0 /home3/crookedb/public_html/servicebuilder/Dropbox/OAuth/PHP.php(73): OAuth->fetch('http://api.drop...', Array, 'GET', Array) #1 /home3/crookedb/public_html/servicebuilder/Dropbox/API.php(284): Dropbox_OAuth_PHP->fetch('http://api.drop...', Array) #2 /home3/crookedb/public_html/servicebuilder/application.php(1718): Dropbox_API->getMetaData('/Public') #3 /home3/crookedb/public_html/servicebuilder/application.php(78): dropBox() #4 {main} thrown in /home3/crookedb/public_html/servicebuilder/Dropbox/OAuth/PHP.php on line 73

Please let me know if you have any ideas. Do I need to close my account and reopen a new one?

I'm not sure what causes this for some users. It's been reported once or twice before.

My best guess is that it's a browser issue-- be sure you use a modern browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari-- not Windows Internet Explorer anyway... try erasing all the ServiceBuilder and Dropbox cookies in your browser.

Let me know how it goes.
